Kedarnath Badrinath Yatra Package from Haridwar

Morning after breakfast, drive to Guptkashi via Devoprayag & Rudraprayag. Enroute you can see the beautiful river Mandakini at Tilwara. The Mandakini river comes from Kedarnath, drive alongside the river to reach Guptakashi, visit Ardh Narishwar Temple in Guptakashi. Check into the hotel arrival in Guptakashi. Overnight stay at Guptakashi.

Guptakashi: The name Gupt Kashi means “Hidden Benares.” Mythology describes how when the Pandava brothers were searching for a glimpse of Shiva, Shivji first concealed himself at Guptkashi, but later fled from them further up the valley to Kedarnath. There are more tangible connections as well — the Kedarnath pandas (priests) live in Guptkashi during the winter months, and after the Kedarnath temple closes for the winter, the image of Kedarnath passes through Guptkashi on its way to Ukhimath (across the valley), where it stays for the winter.

Guptkashi Weather: Pleasant in summer, temperature ranges from 25–30°C. Cold in winters.

Morning after breakfast drive to Gaurikund, start your trek from Gaurikund to Kedarnath (by Pony / Doli / Helicopter at your own cost). Visit Kedarnath Temple. After temple Darshan, trek down to Gaurikund. Later, drive to Guptkashi. Overnight stay at Guptkashi.

Kedarnath Weather: Due to its high altitude, the weather in Kedarnath remains cold most of the year. Summer is cool and pleasant, with temperatures around 20°C. Light woolens are recommended. Winter is severe, with temperatures falling as low as 0°C and snowfall common. Winter visits are usually avoided by tourists.

Morning after breakfast, drive to Badrinath. Check in to the hotel on arrival in Badrinath. Pilgrims, after bathing in the Taptkund, have Darshan of Badrivishal and attend Aarti in the evening. Visit Brahamakapal for Pinddan Shraddh of ancestors (Pitrus). Other sightseeing spots nearby include Mana, Vyas Gufa, Maatamoorti, Charanpaduka, Bhimkund, and the Saraswati River’s “Mukh,” all within 3 km of Badrinath. Overnight stay at Badrinath.

Badrinath Weather: Average maximum temperature is around 18°C and minimum around 8°C. Warm and woolen clothes are required year-round. Winters are cold and often snowy, with average temperature around 5°C. Due to harsh conditions, the area is generally closed to tourists in winter.

Morning after breakfast, drive for Rudraprayag via Joshimath. En route, visit Narsingh Temple in Joshimath. Later, continue to Rudraprayag. Check into the hotel on arrival. Overnight stay at Rudraprayag.

Rudraprayag Weather: Generally hot in summer (35–40°C). Winter days are pleasantly cool, nights are cold (5–20°C).

Morning after breakfast, drive to Haridwar via Rishikesh. Rishikesh, the ‘place of sages,’ is a spiritual town on the bank of the Ganga, surrounded by the Shivalik range of the Himalayas. It is said that when Raibhya Rishi performed intense penance, God appeared as “Hrishikesh,” giving the place its name. Check-in to hotel. Visit Rishikesh temples & sights – Laxman Jhulla, Ram Jhulla. Drop at Haridwar.
